The Okuhotaka dress by Shinyaseki is a cozy, cold-weather staple crafted from a thick, premium Japanese cotton. A textured blue-grey exterior with a plush fleece lining for maximum warmth and comfort. Designed with strategic panel construction and elegant pleating, the silhouette is comfortably fitted through the bodice before opening into a structured flare at the hem.

Why we chose it?

It's not black ;), and we are always struggling with "cute" prints or bright colors. This dress adds a little color in the wardrobe, and still has a strong contemporary point of view. We love that this is not a print, but an abstract motif integrated in the fabric.

It's a winter dress and it's sleeveless, we get it!
The armholes are wide enough to add a little white T-shirt underneth, a mesh top with long sleeves or a fitted turtle neck.
For those of us that are a little warmer than the usual, pair it with a cropped jacket, it would be magnificent!
